I was in a Boston restaurant yesterday. I wanted to visit the Romney Campaign but I found out they were attending an event up in New Hampshire. So I went to the tourist district instead. I made visit to a very well known restaurant.

I got into a long conversation there with one of the former owner/managers. The man talked with nostolgia of his experience in running the place. When I was asked why I was there I spoke about wanting have some effect on Romney's immigration policy.

The old manager thought I must have been by there to speak with him about their policy. In his own place the front line were American but the kitchen were all El Salvadoreans some of whom are lkely to be on TPS.

In fact I could not care less but asked him about whether he was ever involved with Victory Gardens during World War II. He said he was 70 too young. He did not seem to understand my line of thought.

The immigrants need to create alternatives to bringing family here. Fostering family food self sufficiency is the foundation of good planning. The money saved can be used for educations or building barns, storage and for factory shells.

It has occured to me since then that there ought to be a photo display of the gardens those El Salvadorean's families have in the old country. In order to
encourage them to do the right thing it would help to create a place to show off their family's work in their home country.
