13 illegal immigrants arrested

The U.S. Border Patrol arrested 13 illegal immigrants discovered on a school bus Friday during a traffic stop in Taylor.


State Police Sgt. Michael Shaw said a state trooper stopped the bus around 3 p.m. near Eureka and Pardee roads after it ran a light. The trooper checked the Ohio license plate and found that it was stolen.


Shaw said the trooper suspected the men were illegal immigrants and contacted the Border Patrol. He had no further information about the owners of the plate, the bus or the men's destination.


Eight of the men ran when Border Patrol agents arrived but were caught.

Give 'em a break! They were just taking the fast route to school and wanted to be there on time so they could learn ENGLISH!

They were on a bus.
Now they can be on a bus heading south.

But....I thought "theyjustwantabetterlife" didn't commit crimes?

I wonder how the 40 or 50 kids that rode that bus to school in Ohio got to class? Oh....maybe they were good thieves and waited until school was out. Then give them a break on the felony charnge and deport them today....just get them OUT!

I didn't see it mentioned but I'll bet the driver also didn't have a drivers license. I'm hard pressed to find any laws that were obeyed with this group.

I guess we need be tolerant and assume it is only part of their culture to break our laws. How long should we wait before the Catholic Church jumps in and condems the actions of the police and border patrol for arresting these poor souls.

We not only have to be tolerant, but, WE NEED TO EMBRACE
THEM! EMBRACE, EMBRACE, EMBRACE! WITH OPEN-ARMS! WE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THEM BECAUSE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH SAYS ITS OKAY TO BREAK THE LAW. AFTER ALL, WHAT WOULD HeyHOOSE DO?
