    “There is no reason not to have a vote,” Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez, Illinois Democrat, said. “He should call a vote on immigration reform, and I think in my heart that Speaker Boehner would stand with us, with his country, and with the immigrant and Latino community.”
    Yeah, right! Does Rep. Guitierrez really expect Speaker Boehner to destroy what little respect he has left with the Republican party? I don't think that's going to happen!

    I hope and pray that you are right that he wants to maintain some kind of dignity. He after 25 years walks away, I believe, with full salary retirement plus perks for being speaker, probably some. He can rest comfortably, he sedates his conscience heavily. I do not think he cares about dignity much.
