Once "noticed", it is the defendant's responsibility to show up for the hearing on time and notify the courts of any address changes. It should be no different than a parolee moving and not notifying their probation officer of the change. Their freedom is immediately revoked! The same should be for aliens waiting a hearing. They expect more of citizens. We can be fined if we change address and do not notify DMV.
