For the first time in two years, immigration rights advocates will reconvene in Immokalee to march as part of the nationwide May Day movement.
The event sponsored by the Farmworkers Association of Florida and the League of United Latin American Citizens is aimed at bringing immigration reform to the forefront of President Barack Obama’s agenda.
“The message is for them (the government) to stop separating families and stop the discrimination against immigrants,â€Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!
