Delegate wants to head off immigration problems

CHARLESTON, W.Va.— Now that Oklahoma has clamped down on them with a tough new law, does it mean hordes of illegal immigrants might start pouring into the hills of West Virginia?
Delegate Rick Moye, D-Raleigh, sees that as a definite possibility, based on his conversations with officials in other states.
Oklahoma took measures to deny illegals a number of public benefits, raising fears by officials elsewhere that they might seek safer pastures in their regions, even the Mountain State.
