    Undocumented population

    The combined unauthorized immigrant population of Oklahoma, Louisiana and Texas has increased from 2007 to 2010. Nationally, numbers declined or leveled off. Nevada, California, Texas and New Jersey had the largest share of unauthorized immigrants in 2010.

    • 12 million: Estimated number of unauthorized immigrants nationally in 2007.

    • 75,000: Estimated number of unauthorized immigrants in Oklahoma in 2010.

    • 55,000: Estimated number of unauthorized immigrants in Oklahoma in 2007.

    The drop in Oklahoma has been more than made up with a rise in Texas. Texas needs to increase it's immigration enforcement
