Obama takes immigration reform off priority list this year

President Barack Obama has said he won’t tackle comprehensive immigration reform this year, but a spate of budget proposals and incremental policy shifts signal the beginning of a new direction on the issue.

“We want to move this process. We can’t continue with a broken immigration system,â€

He's all over the place re illegals. Probably because he is being pressured heavily by the pro-illegals camp to pursue legalization and with unemployment rising such legalization will cause major problems with the general public, or should I say citizens?

I think they may try to do piecemeal legislation, such as the DreamAct to begin with and who knows what next.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said the administration moved to end the program, which Obama supported in the Senate, on the belief that funds earmarked for jails are going to other uses, such as consultants and bonuses.




Oh really?

And just how are the funds being earmarked for La Raza, ACORN, etc. being used?

He needs to get out the broad tipped red Sharpie for THAT one and get busy.

Wonder what he'll say next week. More importantly, wonder what he'll really do. It seems likely he'll do nothing; kind of like voting "present" when he was in state government.

D'ya think this POS plans to open the border to everyone? Or just to Mexico (and his auntie of course)?

Obama has absolutely no intention of securing the borders and helping unemployed Americans. His policy of legalizing identity theft and rewarding those who steal identities with work authorizations so they can take more jobs from Americans again illustrates his only concern is for cheap labor, more votes and as always to hell with the American people. I will NEVER trust this mob and drug cartel owned administration whose true agenda is to transform this country into an impoverished third world socialist sh!thole...........
