Immigration officials raid Utah County metal plant
Immigration officials raid Utah County metal plant
Last Update: 11:40 am
Immigrations officers raided a Lindon, Utah, manufacturing company Thursday after a long-term investigation found undocumented workers may be on the payroll.
At around 8 a.m. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials as well as Utah County Sherriff deputies raided a 100,000 square foot manufacturing plant of Universal Industrial Sales in Lindon.
About 50 people were taken into ICE custody in the raid. There are no federal arrest warrants or criminal charges associated with the workers at the present time, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Two indictments unsealed on Thursday charge the company with harboring illegal aliens and encouraging or inducing workers to stay in the United States illegally.
The indictments relate to violations occurring between January 2003 and December 2006.

Glad they are starting to enforce the laws. Utah has a lot of illegal aliens in that state. It will take them a long time to clear them all out.

Now that's what we've been talking about...we need to hear about these raids everyday. Tomorrow, we'll be hearing about the sob stories...but there's always IA's who will be leaving on their own when they hear about this raid.

We have seen this before with a Swift raid. I don't think anyone is scared yet.

Illegal aliens are nervous, no doubt about it. They are nervous about new laws springing up all over the place, and they are nervous about enforcement. Word of raids like this one travel faster than wildfire through their media, friends and relatives, and it really doesn't matter which state they live in or what industry they work in, the fact that they could be next isn't lost upon them for a minute. But, they basically take a gamble asking themselves what are the odds that their particular workplace is going to be raided.
Now, if we wanted to see almost instant, tangible numbers of illegals clear out of an area en masse and at warp speed, all it would take would be for ICE to conduct a large raid in a state like AZ or OK, or in a city or town which has put laws into effect.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

They seem to be concerned. However, most of these illegal invaders will continue to roll the dice and hope their place of business is not raided. Unfortunately, right now, the illegal invader has a better chance of winning the lottery than he does of being arrested in an immigration raid.
We need many more of these raids, especially in California please.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Please ICE just hit one Walmart every night after 12:00PM. You would have 50 a night. Also ICE please call on the police and the citizens to help you detain them, we don't need 50 ICE agents to do the job that only ICE will do.
