    Immigration pressure on Obama increasing
By Richard S. Dunham and Gary Martin - Houston Chronicle

WASHINGTON — For weeks, President Obama has been under increasing pressure from civil rights groups, Latino elected officials and Democratic liberals to do something — anything — to rescue comprehensive immigration reform from political purgatory.

80% of Legal Americans oppose @260 Million

20% + NON Voting Illegal Aliens for Amnesty @40 Million

24.5 Million Plus Americans Unemployed or under Employed during a Economic Depression with no end in site. The last I heard we are in (the beginning) of year 2 of a 8 - 10 year down turn driven by Sub Prime Loans given to Illegal Aliens

Americans are getting more and more P. O. by the day and these Politicians are trying to Push Amnesty

Boy is this going to get interesting

Janet Murguia, president of the National Council of La Raza, the nation’s largest Hispanic rights group, points out that Latino voters rejected anti-immigrant candidates in the last election and were instrumental in the Obama victory. Immigration reform remains a rallying issue among Hispanic voters, who turned out 2-1 for Obama last November.
Ms. Murgia: So What??!! Where are Latino voters going to go? Go running to the Republicans? The Republicans can't increase their pandering to illegal aliens, or they will lose ALL, ALL their voters.

Mr. President: The Latino vote is NOT what got you elected. Juan Mccain was Mr. Amnesty himself, and look how much that helped him.

Give it up now guys. You know this is a lose-lose situation for you. Never ever promise amnesty again.

Another, shall we say, less than truthful statement from Murguia. Polling has shown that immigration matters are a fairly low priority for Latinos.

I just want to know who these so called "anti-immigrant candidates" are that Janet Murguia claims were rejected by Latino voters? I didn't know we had any running in the last election!

It's simply amazing that Janet Murguia can make such a fictitious statement and not get called out on it!

To fix health care, deport illegal aliens.
