$8:00 a pound was for a t-bone, they looked pretty good, but I cooked a 4lb prime rib for xmas eve and it cost me $60.00 but it was delicious.
I eat mostly chicken now but I live pork chops best. that not cheap anymore either.

IMPEACH BUSH!!!! (ha! ha!) I did that to irritate you, I'll never say it again now that I know we can't.
Oh, you can certainly talk about impeachment, but I would ask for you to substantiate the talk with an actual charge that will stick and an indication that Congress will not merely do a little dance and then acquit.
OK , If I come up with something good I'll let you know, until then mums the word.

That's a common phenomenon in border states. Once the business signs all start switching to Spanish, the for sale signs start popping up in all the front lawns.

    .

My town in Idaho had a population of 10,000 5 years ago, it is now 35,000 now, maybe more after last summer, most of the people moving here are from all the border states, and most of the people I have spoken to left because of the language barrier, traffic, job loss, property tax to high or wanted their kids out of the schools, so I would say illegal immigration is running most of the citizens out of those states,

Whats going to happen when most of their middle class tax base is gone?

They are really causing property prices up and property taxes to rise, but can't say as I blame them.

I have also noticed most of the people are very nice middle or upper class families. We also have alot of retired people who leave in the winter.

In order to have the steaks you guys are talking about on here, I would have to rustle it from Bush's ranch! I have to make do with that little round steak they pound until it tears up when you try to lift it out of the package lol. have to say though, my wife has a way of making it taste very good, when I get to feeling sorry for myself because I can't afford better I make myself think about all the starving kids in Ethiopia and try to imagine myself eating high on the cow lol. Everyone does remember that one don't ya"

Mom and Dad at supper time, to kids, YOU BETTER EAT EVERY BITE ON YOUR PLATE, JUST THINK OF ALL THOSE KIDS STARVING TO DEATH OVER THERE IN ETHIOPIA.

You should try Kobe beef sometime. That stuff is tough to beat, but I think that it runs into three digits per pound nowadays for the real stuff from Japan. You can get the same basic meat raised in the same manner over here, but they are not allowed to call it Kobe. The domestic stuff is called Wagyu, which is the Japanese name for the cattle type. It's still about $75/lb. Wagyu is made from one of four breeds of Japanese cattle that are noted for the dense marbling and tenderness of their meat. When raised in the traditional manner, the cattle are fed rich diets and beer and are massaged by trained specialists (no kidding).

If you go to Japan, their Kobe beef is pretty much exclusively a variety of the Japanese Black breed that they call Tajima-ushi.

My guess would be aiding, abetting and exploiting illegals.

    Texas town filled with illegals

Sounds like the mayor had his own business supporting illegals. He owned most of the businesses in town as well as the rentals. Anyone care to bet that the rentals would not rate as slums in most parts of the country. The rentals need to be torn down and a complete investigation of the mayor needs to be done. Where did the illegals get their documentation from, how did they cross the border. Corruption is running wild in America. No wonder our politicians want to have open borders. They will not be accountable for their actions.
