VA-Illegal immigration critic appointed to PW board
Illegal immigration critic appointed to PW board
Associated Press - September 23, 2008 2:26 PM ET
MANASSAS, Va. (AP) - Prince William County activists say they want the board of supervisors to explain their appointment of an illegal immigration critic to a panel on human services.
County supervisors voted 5-3 in a closed session to appoint Robert Duecaster to the human services task force, which establishes funding and partnerships to help families in crisis. Duecaster is the secretary of the anti-illegal immigration group Help Save Manassas.
The appointment was first reported last week by The (Washington) Examiner newspaper.
Prince William County has gained national attention over the last year for its crackdown on illegal immigration.
Nearly 70 people have signed an online petition asking supervisors for an explanation. Several are expected to attend a county board of supervisors meeting Tuesday.

Great appointment, since when do human services for illegals outweigh the human services that will be needed by American citizens when they see their properties foreclosed, their jobs gone overseas, or by insourcing foreign workers or being replaced by illegal aliens?

THEY DON'T OWE YOU SQUAT in the way of an explanation as to any of their appointments, especially since your group represents those who have no right to be here in the first place.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

The board of Supervisors do not have to explain anything to these people...the vote says it all..and they need to just shut up...especially if they aren't citizens and/or advocating for illegal aliens.

They could only get 70 people to whine?? I'm sure there are more than 70 people in PWC. Maybe it's time to hear from the rest of them? Especially the LEGAL ones?Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
