Thread: Immigration reform pitch morphs Tea Party protests

Too bad we cant replace these turncoats now! I think they are getting the message though! Hard working Americans and legal immigrants to this country do not want Amnesty!

We want our streets back, our neighborhoods back and our dam country back, we do not want all the problems associated with what is going on south of the border! Chaos and death, is that what we want, marfia warlords, turf wars, massive corruption.

At the moment I have no party affiliation. The Republicans have been on the side of business for so long that their motives are also questionable, IMO. And this is from a former Republican -- me.
I will probably vote Republican just to change the balance of power in the legislature, but it is a sad comment when I have to choose between two parties, where few, if any, of both parties are more interested in satisfying campaign coffers than worrying about their poor constituents, who are too broke to contribute these days.
I wish to see a rise of an American Common Sense party one day, and I will happily join.

Republicans were always the common sense pragmatists with the really good ideas that promoted both liberty and prosperity for the American People. Unfortunately, our party has been infested with people with different views that those that established the party and the members who worked for hard and gave so much to truly improve life in America for everyone.

Republicans need to focus on their original philosophy that not only founded our party and led to a 155 year nearly perfect record of accomplishments for the betterment of our nation and our citizens and leave the Open Borders, Free Trade Treason, Social Conservative plank for those who want to put their names on it and fund it with their own money.

For 10 years, incredibly ... Republicans in our Congress fought minimum wage increases .... when Republicans established the minimum wage to begin with. These people in our Congress calling themselves Republicans either weren't raised in the Republican Party or their parents were raised in the Republican Party and joined for reasons that have nothing to do with Republican values, principles, history, record or accomplishments.

That was a shameful disgrace to watch Republicans block minimum wage increases for our poorest workers for 10 years in a row. It just makes me want to puke and throw the whole lot of them out of our government and get some real Republicans back in there to save our country which starts with saving our workers.
