Seems like we have many joining that have also had it with this administration and the New World Order.

There are more people against illegals being here but you'd never know it with the Obama Regime, The Senate, and Congress.

I called my reps here in Maine about 3 months ago and only one knew what E-Verify was.
Hopefully they know now... I find that scary.

like it or not obama was and is the lessor of two evils. with mccain more than likely we would be in world war lll by the end of this year. as for the nau if we can limit it to canada and the united states i believe we as a nation would come out ahead, fore in most cases canadians have more rights than we do right now. they have gun control that works. they have a health system that works. maybe by combining the two nations we can finally be what we should have been a long, long time ago a nation who helps build freedom throughout the world. socialism is not the form of government but the root. democracy, fascism, communism are all socialist governments. socialism is the governing of people regardless of the type of government in place. throughout the world there are freer people than we are here and they do not have democracy as their form of government. our government and our media make other forms of government sound dirty and corrupt in the hopes that we will not demand a restructuring of a government that currently supports the upper one percent of our society. we have not had a democracy(thanks to the republicans)in this nation in several decades. this is but one of the two main reasons why most people of the world hate the u.s. and americans, we really do not practice what we preach. our democracy has been dead for a very, very long time. the social order is ruled by greed/capitalism and must change if we are to survive.

Actually I have been a member since Feb. 2006, do not know how the date got changed. I see very few of the older members responding recently. I have been too busy writing, e-mailing, and calling the congress people and the so-called president.

In response to the statement that democracy is socialization , I suggest people who adhere to this definition look it up in the dictionary! I was taught in grade school, some years ago that a democracy type government is government by the people in all phases. Also, until this last election, the people also choose who works for them and how long, etc! It seems that the adherents to the Liberal way have been listening to and reading a lot of very untrue propaganda. It is unfortunately the fault of us not rooting out those people who chose to teach and write the lies in our failing education system for the past almost 60 yrs. I was horrified at my oldest son's first history book, and that was 45 yrs. ago! Trying to get to the bottom of it was tantamont to getting stuck in a bottle of molasses.
My first encounter was with a literature professor, young and new at Indiana university in 1950. Most of the students, including myself, just wrote him off as a crack-pot. What mistake!

self governing still involves a social order. like it or not all forms of government are based on socialism. are roll as a so called self governing people is to try to restore the democracy that has been long, long dead. i still believe that we can use mr. obama and his allies to get what we want, and put an end to what they want once and for all. we have not completely lost this nation yet.

What you are saying makes no sense how can it be possible to use BO and gang to repeal what they have and are doing to solve the problems that they have created??. I also do not care what you think socialism is. Hitler started with socialism as did Stalin, and other dictators. As I said before, look it up in the dictionary! Socialism was advocated by Marx and Lenin in Russia and by Hitler in Germany.
The Marxist doctrine lists it between the capitalist stage and and the communist stage. I suppose that if you take that as gospel for all the world you could say it is built on democracy or visa-versa. You can say anything but it does not make it true! Socialism is what is being foisted upon us now, Democracy is what we started out with and has slowly been taken away from us by people who do not really comprehend the beauty and truthfullness of the founding fathers, who wrote the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence! Basically the foundation of all of this makes us a republic!

Employers May Face More Immigration Scrutiny

All Things Considered, April 3, 2009 · The Obama administration's approach to immigration enforcement is still something of a mystery. The Department of Homeland Security is issuing new guidelines for field agents on how to deal with illegal immigrants in the workforce, and so far, those guidelines are being kept secret. But a recent incident in Washington state may provide some clues.

On Feb. 24, when armed immigration agents raided Yamato Engine Specialists, a small company that rebuilds car engines in Bellingham, Wash., 28 workers were led away in handcuffs. They were illegal immigrants, most of them from Mexico, and they faced quick deportation. It was the first big immigration raid under President Obama, and it came as a shock to many in the Hispanic community.

On Spanish radio, shock quickly turned to anger. "Let's give the Obama administration one month to stop all this," warns one caller, "otherwise, the Democratic Party and Obama will suffer the consequences!"

But the White House seemed almost as surprised by the raid as the workers. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano told Congress she hadn't known about the raid ahead of time, and she ordered a review of it.

Now, one month later, 27 of the 28 workers have been released. One of them — Luis Ramos — says he can't get over how nice the immigration agents have become.

"They treat us wonderfully," Ramos says. "They even say, 'do you want a soda from the machine?'"

The government is offering them temporary work permits, and immigration agents are even giving the Mexicans free rides to Seattle to file the paperwork. Now the anger at Obama is coming from the other side of the immigration debate.

"Not only is this immigration non-enforcement that's going on, he is providing a policy amnesty for illegal aliens that is not supported by the American public and that has not been passed by Congress," says William Gheen, who represents a group called Americans for Legal Immigration.

The Obama administration isn't saying what the policy is yet — officially, it's still under review. But during the campaign, Obama said he'd like to shift the enforcement emphasis to the employers, and that philosophy now seems to be on display at Yamato Engine Specialists.

Raiding, This Time, For Data

On Thursday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials came back, but this time, it wasn't after workers — the blue-jacketed immigration officials had a warrant to search the company's files. They set up special gear to copy the contents of Yamato's computers, and company manager Shirin Makalai watched the process with an air of strained cordiality.

But moving out into Yamato Engine's production floor, Makalai could barely contain her frustration.

"You know, I don't want to say and antagonize the investigation and put us in a worse situation — it's just — it seems there's a very big picture here, and we're in the middle of it," Makalai says.

If the administration is trying to make an example of companies like Yamato, it has its work cut out. Deporting workers is relatively easy; making a criminal case against an employer is harder. Current law makes it relatively easy for managers to claim they didn't know their employees were illegal, so investigators may start looking for other kinds of offenses.

Edgar Rebollar, one of the released Mexicans, says the agents have been questioning him about all aspects of their experience at Yamato.

"They asked us if there was racism," he says, "or if they paid some people more than others." Questions like that suggest the government might go beyond immigration violations and try to prosecute Yamato under labor laws.

Rebollar says he thinks Yamato treated him well, but he and his colleagues say they'll provide the government with evidence, if necessary. They have good reason to cooperate. Their work permits are valid only as long as there's a case against Yamato. Once they're no longer useful to investigators, they again face deportation.

Obama has taken us past the tipping point. If we didn't use all this money he stole from NOWHERE but thin air, we could maybe fix it 2012. He will be changing our Constitution to suit his needs next. He's not an American so he has to do that, plus it will fill his warped agenda of Socialism/Marxism. This is one sick dude. IMHO
