    Illegals run Amok in Bisbee, AZ

    Aug. 10

    • 8:41 a.m. — Approximately $500 in damage to a metal/chain link fence on private property located on the first block of Holbrook was caused by a Bisbee Unified School District bus while the property owner was away. The bus driver had reported the incident to his supervisor.

    • 8:51 a.m. — A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle traveling 54 mph in a 45 zone on Highway 80 at Old Divide Road. All six occupants were found to be illegal immigrants. The Border Patrol responded and took custody. The vehicle was impounded.

    • 12:30 p.m. — A license plate check on a vehicle parked on Arizona Street near City Hall revealed that the plate belonged to another vehicle. The driver was released. The vehicle impounded.

    • 12:30 p.m. — The driver of a vehicle stopped on Arizona Street near Beto’s Mexican Food was found to be an illegal immigrant and was turned over to the Border Patrol. The vehicle was registered to a Phoenix resident and was impounded.

    Aug. 11

    • 1:11 a.m. — Juveniles were reported playing basketball at Garfield Park. They were advised that the park closed at 10 p.m., were advised to leave and asked to pass the information on to others.

    • 1:56 p.m. — The Border Patrol requested assistance with a vehicle westbound on Highway 80 near Double Adobe that failed to yield. Officers found the vehicle parked at mile post 347. The doors were open and numerous persons fled the vehicle. Officers gave chase and apprehended seven illegal immigrants. They were were turned over to the Douglas Border Patrol agents, who also seized the vehicle.

    • 2:14 p.m. — An illegal immigrant was reported walking on School Terrace Road. The person was located and turned over to the Border Patrol.

    • 4:20 p.m. — At a traffic stop on Highway 80 near mile post 342, it was determined that none of the occupants of the vehicle was the registered owner. The vehicle was impounded.

    • 5:57 p.m. — Four illegal immigrants were located on Highway 80 near mile post 347 and turned over to the Border Patrol.

    • 6:37 p.m. — At a vehicle stop on Highway 80, five illegal immigrants were apprehended and turned over to the Border Patrol.

    • 10:10 p.m. — Several juveniles were cited/referred for curfew and/or trespassing in City Park.

    • 11:12 p.m. — Two people in front of the Bisbee Grill were cited for drinking in public.

    Aug. 12

    • 7:45 a.m. — Criminal damage to a mailbox and a turned over trash bin was reported at a residence on the first block of Night Hawk. Bisbee Public Works was notified.

    • 8:38 a.m. — Someone caused criminal damage by breaking the front window of Your Thrift Store located at 33 Bisbee Road. The window may have been broken with a golf club.

    • 10:26 a.m. — A vehicle stopped for an unsafe lane change was found to contain six illegal immigrants. They were turned over to the Border Patrol. The vehicle had a fictitious license plate from Sonora, Mexico, and was impounded.

    • 11:07 a.m. — A vehicle stopped on Highway 80 near mile post 341 contained four illegal immigrants. They were turned over to the Border Patrol. The driver, a U.S. citizen, was charged with possession of dangerous drugs.

    • 9:41 p.m. — During an investigation of a possible stolen vehicle found parked at a residence on the 100 block of Pittsburgh it was determined that the vehicle had a fictitious license plate. The residence was found unsecured. While one officer obtained verbal consent from a man who came to the front door, another officer heard footsteps on the north side of the house and observed another subject fleeing from the area. A curtain was observed blowing through an open door. The officer entered the room and observed in plain view a bag of methamphetamine, a digital scale and a glass marijuana pipe. All contraband, including 14.2 grams of methamphetamine, were seized and disposed of.

    Aug. 13

    • 12:03 a.m. — A vehicle was stopped after running the license plate and determining the suspended registration was invalid. The driver and one passenger were released. Another passenger was an illegal immigrant and was turned over to the Border Patrol. The vehicle was impounded.

    • 5:08 p.m. — A theft occurred at an unoccupied residence located on the 400 block of Shattuck. Missing items include a 24-ft. ladder, 8 kitchen cabinets, a power saw and a bag of tools. The owner believes a previous tenant that he evicted may have taken the items.

    Aug. 14

    • 8:39 a.m. — An off-duty Border Patrol agent reported seeing two illegal immigrants walking along Highway 80 near mile post 341. They were picked up and transported to a Border Patrol station.

    • 3:23 p.m. — A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle with a Sonora, Mexico, license plate. The vehicle did not stop. The driver changed directions, heading back east. The Department of Public Safety had responded to the area and had spiked the front right tire. The vehicle exited onto a private drive and went off the road. Approximately 10 illegal immigrants fled the vehicle and were not recovered. The vehicle sustained damage and was impounded.

    • 5:04 p.m. — A vehicle with an Arizona temporary license was observed in the 400 block of Congdon, a common area for “load vehiclesâ€

    Wouldn't it be great if I could read a Jersey paper that said "illegal caught and turned over to ice" Here your more likely to read " immigrant caught with no licencse, no registration, and no identification, was let go because police couldn't figure out who they were"
