Immigration Rising on Bush's To-Do List

To long to post the text so I posted the direct link.

The one part I disagree with Rep. Tom Tancredo is that I really believe that Bush's main goal is to court more of the Latino vote. He did get a sizable more of the vote than last year and that includes here in California. He knows big business will support who ever is in power as long as the status quo in regard to business is maintained.

I think the re-electable Republicians are going to have to decide whether to support non-enforcement with the Prez or appeal to the right wing of the party for enforcement of immigration laws. There can't be too many rail riders on this one.
I wonder how many illegals got their NC driver licenses renewed last week? President Bush needs to protect the borders not illegals. President Bush is a coward and guilty of treason when it comes to securing the borders.

I guess I'm not surprise there has not been more reaction to this story, since most people here believe bush is already a traitor.

BTW, this story was featured on Lou Dobbs tonight; he had a good angle to it.

The reason there is not more posts to your thread is because there are 4 others on the same story. Looks like you found one of them. It's a hot topic but there are too many other discussions going on in the forum competing with each other on the same subject.

6th Cav. I was with them in Korea. Blackhorse HOOAH!

As for Bush I think he needs to realize that only the radical Latinos in this country actually want illegal immigration legalized. Most of the ones who are American citizens are deadset against it, and are becoming more vocal.

Plus, Democrats are starting to seize on the fact that illegals are unwanted by African Americans and US Citizen Latinos. If he's smart, which is dubious at this point, he'll change his course.
