The Springdale Police Department is offering two ways to report criminal activity related to foreign nationals.

The department, in conjunction with the Rogers Police Department, the Washington County Sheriffs Office, the Benton County Sheriffs Office and the U. S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, has joined the Immigration Criminal Apprehension Task Force (ICAT ). The primary responsibility of the ICAT task force is to investigate criminal activity largely related to foreign nationals.

Springdale and Washington County residents who wish to report criminal activity involving foreign nationals can do so by phone or e-mail.

Citizens who want to provide information via e-mail can visit the Springdale Police Department home page, www.springdaleark.org/pd/ , and click on the ICAT link, or send an e-mail directly to icatsouth @ springdaleark. org. Additionally, information can be provided anonymously by calling (479 ) 750-4484.

The Springdale Criminal Investigation Division has also implemented the use of e-mail for citizens to report crimes and provide information related to criminal activity. Citizens can also access that e-mail by going to the department’s home page, Criminal Investigation Division link or by sending e-mails to springd alecid @ springdaleark. org.
