LINCOLN — Iowa is being more aggressive than Nebraska in cracking down on unscrupulous businesses that hide illegal immigrant workers by misclassifying employees as “independent contractors.â€

That is the largest problem with working illegals in this country

Its not the tyson foods , or acme meatpacking

It is the small sub contractors , The concrete companies , floor services , pool cleaners, landscaping , framers , roofers , laborers.

That is where the bulk of the illegals hide out

Just the Facts, you are absolutely right: it is the small business subcontractors who hire the bulk of illegals, particularly in the residential construction and landscaping businesses, and yet very little is done to hold these employers accountable.
