Talk radio host Laura Ingraham predicted that Rep. Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) push for a pathway to legal status for illegal immigrants would kill his political prospects. After playing a clip of Ryan defending his immigration proposal, she remarked sarcastically, “it’s a shock that Romney and Ryan lost,” and predicted “this is the end of the road for him,” especially given Scott Brown and Dave Brat’s success pushing immigration enforcement.

Ingraham also said that the amnesty push would kill sales of Ryan’s book, stating “I could sneeze and sell more books than Paul Ryan,” especially because “you can’t have a straight face and say what he said.”
