    Invaders' "Rights" Trump Citizens' Rights

By Mark Andrew Dwyer - Postred April 13, 2005

Imagine you see a bad guy trying to kill your neighbor. You grab your old .38-special Smith & Wesson revolver and run to rescue your neighbor from a deadly threat. Just as you spread the attacker on the ground keeping him safely at the gun point, local police arrives and arrests you for making what they claim was a false imprisonment and unauthorized use of a deadly force. The would-be assassin is given a note to appear in court and is free to go while you end up in a county jail. You see, murder is a federal crime regulated by a federal law that your local police don't want to enforce, but vigilante violence and false imprisonment are completely under the local jurisdiction. So you are in a deep trouble facing serious criminal charges that could spell out a jail time for you while the guy that almost killed your neighbor got of the hook easily - it's not likely that the Feds will press charges against him (it's totally at their discretion whether they do that or not) and even if they do he will, most likely, skip the trial as they don't know his address or true identity. To make things worse, local ACLU chapter is already preparing a lawsuit against you for your violating that guy's civil rights.

The above hypothetical scenario may look absurd to you but this is what's actually happening with the enforcement of the American-Mexican border and the federal immigration laws. As reported by the Ass. Press (see [1]), "Three volunteers patrolling the border for illegal immigrants were being investigated after a man told authorities he was held against his will and forced to pose for a picture holding a T-shirt with a mocking slogan. The volunteers said they were members of the Minuteman Project - a monthlong effort that has people from around the country fanned out along the border to report undocumented migrants and smugglers. Law enforcement officials have said they fear the project will lead to vigilante violence. Border Patrol agents called in deputies from the Cochise County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday afternoon to report that an immigrant was detained by three men who identified themselves as project volunteers."

Although Associated Press reports are usually known for their clarity, I doubt if a fair and impartial person can honestly classify this one ([1], that is) as clear and objective reporting. Indeed, it takes an effort and some critical thinking to separate the spin (like that illegal border hoppers are good because they are referred to as "immigrants" and Minutemen are bad because they were labeled "vigilantes"; also note a characteristic use of term "man" while referring to an illegal alien) from the truth while reading that report. And the truth will rise eyebrows of anyone whose allegiance is to the U.S. Constitution and not to Mexican nation or international liberalism.

    Let's see.

At the same time when the federal government and Border Patrol claim that they are unable to enforce the American-Mexican border and the immigration laws because they are OVERWHELMED by the intensity of the illegal traffic through the American-Mexican border, they apparently have enough will, manpower, and resources to engage in investigation of American citizens that allegedly violated the "rights" of the invaders that the Feds and BP were supposed to keep out of this country in the first place. No wonder why "[spokesman of the] Border Patrol has said repeatedly that it doesn't want civilians like the Minuteman group taking law enforcement action" (quotation from [1]). And at the same time when local law enforcement flatly refuse to detain or even investigate illegal aliens (ostensibly because it's a federal matter and/or they don't have time and money to go after illegals) they infallibly crack down on American citizens on a slightest suspicion (in this case, an accusation by an invader caught in flagranti) that they might have violated the "rights" of the very illegals that are given a free ride for their mass violations of the law of the land they are invading.

The above incident, indicative of the regrettable attitude of the authorities towards defending the America's border, her citizens, and enforcing her immigration laws, is not an isolated one (see [2] for an earlier example). I clearly see a pattern of betrayal here that has all appearances of conspiracy that goes all the way to Capitol Hill and, perhaps, White House (see [3]). The conspiracy that aims at disabling of enforcement of America's border and her immigration laws so that the million man "migration" from Mexico into the U.S. continues smoothly and without obstructions.

As a result, over million of illegal aliens a year hop the American-Mexican border as they please, and American authorities exempt them from obeying the law as if being illegal automatically qualified anyone for a privileged status of protected category of persons. Meanwhile, American citizens that took upon themselves the responsibility that these very authorities neglect by and large, are being sternly prosecuted (or, as in the case reported in [1], harassed) for their patriotism and portrayed, by Ass. Press and alike, as bunch of racist xenophobes that refuse to recognize the most basic right of migrating hordes: the right to invade the neighbor country.

I hope you remember well all those who conspire, side with the invaders, or otherwise betray America these days of truth and trial of patriotism, for they need to be separated from power and political influence in order to make this greatest nation on Earth safe again. Your liberties, your well-being and the well-being of those you love, even your living standard after you retire, may depend on your memory and your resolve to rid American politics of domestic betrayal and foreign influence. Because no matter what liberal professors and liberal mass media keep telling you, it's better to be called a racist xenophobe than to surrender a country to the invading hordes.

I feel that rights should be reserved for citizens.Enough is enough.Terri Shiavo would've had a better chance as an illegal.
