    Wouldn't accepting a pardon be an admission of guilt? I thought the former Sheriff's fight was still ongoing.

    It was a surprise this worked out this way.

    My daughter lived in Phoenix for about 3 years, and we were fortunate to have an extended stay there some years ago.

    Not many seemed to like Sheriff Joe - in a personal way - BUT they sure wanted him in office as a sheriff. They liked what he did.
