Woman arrested for resisting Henderson County deputies

A woman living in Hendersonville was arrested Tuesday and processed through the Henderson County Sheriff's Office's criminal illegal alien program.

Claudia Lizet Vazquez-Hernandez was arrested Tuesday for resisting officers, Capt. Jerry Rice said in a news release.

While being booked, Vazquez-Hernandez gave deputies multiple counterfeit identification documents including Social Security cards, Department of Treasury and Internal Revenue Service Individual Taxpayer identification number cards, permanent resident alien cards, N.C. Department of Health and Human Services Medicaid identification card and North Carolina electronic benefit transfer card, Rice said in the release.

“An inquiry through the 287g program showed that Vazquez-Hernandez had been previously removed from the United States for convictions of felonies involving possession and purchase for sale of cocaine, transportation or sale of narcotics and use of a compartment for controlled substances,â€

To get a library card, i had to show a drivers license, current utility bill, assure them that yes, I would return their stupid books on time or risk paying a fine of 10 cent a day. Yet an illegal can just go strolling in the welfare office, with phony I.D. and get benefits. I
