Three men are accused of killing a young woman and then sawing off her hand in an attempt to make it look like a narco-related execution in Juárez.

Chihuahua state police last week arrested Sergio Ruben Cardenas de la O, alias El Balatas; Aaron Roberto Acevedo Martinez, alias El Pelon; and Carlos Gibran Ramirez Muñoz, alias, El Pollo. They face homicide charges. The woman, who appeared to be in her early 20s, has yet to be identified.

Police said the men allegedly incriminated each other and detailed the murder stemming for an alcohol-fueled argument.

Late Wednesday night, the three young men drinking alcohol and dancing with the woman at a home, according to police. After hours of partying, an argument began and the woman apparently insulted the men. The men took her to a shower, tied gray tape around her face until she suffocated. After the woman was dead, Cardenas and Acevedo allegedly used a saw to chop off her left hand.

Police said the three dragged the body to a nearby street where it was found at 1:10 a.m. Thursday. Police alleged the men had cut off her hand to make it look like a drug related killing. A severed hand is often a sign by organized crime to signify a thief.

At 3 a.m., police, acting on a tip about a suspicious person, found Cardenas, 17, walking on a nearby street. He allegedly had blood stains on his jeans and his shoe prints matched those found near the body. The ages of the other two men were not released but they also appear
to be teenagers.

The other two suspects were later arrested at their homes. Police said the alleged killers had forgotten the woman's severed hand back at Cardenas' house where she was killed.
