At the Vanguard conference room located in a Christian College in Costa Mesa CA, some 50 pastors and evangelical leaders gathered to meet representatives of presidential candidates Barak Obama and John McCain. The man who represented John McCain was Juan Hernandez

Below are some excerpts of comments made by Juan Hernandez refering to Senator McCain's postion on Immigration.

"He, McCain, was with us when it was necessary", said Hernández, being referred repeatedly to the leadership of the republican in 2006 to co-sponsor an immigration reform bill next to democrat senator Ted Kennedy. "I know what is in his heart and what feels for Hispanics and immigrants".

Some pastors questioned McCain's representative on his position regarding immigration reform.

"Isn't it true that McCain has backpeddled on this issue?", questioned Alejandro Mandes, director of theHispanic department of the Evangelical Free Church of America.

Hernández said that that was not true, that it is a "lie" of the media.

Was this just a wonderful dream, or didn't McCain actually say something to the effect of "I get it. Close the borders first."?
Is Mr. Henandez saying that McCain lied to the American people? And who else should be more guilty than the media.

McCain's securing the borders "first" is just a smoke screen, He deosn't give a hoot if the borders are secured, in fact hee prefers they remain wide open. he's been a Sentor for over 26 years and has done absolutely nothing during that entire time to secure the borders. Beside, ya gotta ask what happens after the "first". And of course...it's AMNESTY. That's the only reason McCain is uttering the Secure the borders first crap. He's trying to placate immigration enforcement advocates hoping they won't notice that what he really wants is AMNESTY.

The Republican party platform is stating "No Amnesty."

That's a step in then right direction, but only one step. Maybe we can help push them the rest of the way.

Most Republican legislators are anti-illegal immigrant, even in California.

The Democrats are far more dangerous on the illegal immigration issue.

Party Platform, McCain Differ on Immigration

    Addressing Immigration

On immigration, the draft states opposition to any plan that would provide amnesty for people in the country illegally. ``The rule of law suffers if government policies encourage or reward illegal activity,'' it says.

I sent this to Sessions, DeMint, Vitter, Specter, McConnell

The tougher stance the Republican Party takes on illegal immigration, the better chance they have of winning the Presidential election. I expect even a sizeable portion of the black votes. Blacks are very anti-illegal immigrant; they realize that illegals are a great detriment to their own welfare. Blacks are very disppointed that their leaders haven't taken a strong stance against illegal immigration. Even many Hispanics are against illegal immigrants. I read all of the comments every single day. There are more legal Hispanics against illegal immigration than there are for it.

    THERE WILL BE NO AMNESTY!!!
