Since they appeared in court three times, I'm assuming they received a continuence twice. Seems like all they had to do was seek a continuence until they received a liberal judge they were comfortable with. Well, they certainly got one! I'm really disappointed in our judicial system these days. It seems like we're seeing too many judges legislate from the bench instead of ruling according to the law.

Sounds like the prosecutor failed to follow through on this one. Knowing how friendly the Chicago government is to illegal aliens I'm guessing this was deliberate.
