Thread: Judge Nap: After Obama, It's 'Newsworthy' When Feds Enforce Immigration Law

Judge Andrew Napolitano said that after eight years of President Obama, it is "newsworthy" when the federal government enforces immigration law.

Discussing illegal immigration on "The First 100 Days," Napolitano said that for too long, the federal government "looked the other way" when undocumented people committed crimes.

Napolitano said President Trump's administration, including DHS Secretary Gen. John Kelly, is very different than previous administrations.

"It is newsworthy when the government enforces the law," he said.

He criticized Obama's use of prosecutorial discretion-- choosing not to enforce certain laws he didn't agree with-- saying that presidents are allowed to do so too often.

Napolitano complimented the Trump administration for appearing to curb illegal border crossings without spending any money.

He echoed Kelly in saying Trump's tone toward illegal immigrants may be the reason for a noticeable drop in the number of people illegally entering the United States from Mexico.

Yes, Trump's "tone" has stopped China from manipulating their currency and to start buying more of our products, reduced border crossings of illegal aliens, encouraged our major companies to bring their operations back to the States, excited many small businesses to start expanding, jumped consumer confidence, and sent the stock market to record levels. Trump has done that all by himself, with his words, his tweets, his meetings, his negotiations, his tone, his knowledge, his personality, his experience, his common sense, his loyalty and commitment to our country, workers and citizens.

Meanwhile, 535 members of the US Congress have done nothing to help our country or people. They haven't accomplished anything. Not one of them has done anything to sell a product, to create a job, to raise a wage, to catch an illegal alien or to deport one. Everything good happening in our country is because of Donald J Trump and what he has done himself. And I'm pretty certain he'll eventually have to put Air Force One on a Deportation Circuit leading a crew of Army Personnel Carriers to pick up these illegal aliens and haul them out of here himself.

The congress hasn't yet gotten it's marching orders from their masters. They just don't know what to do unless the money people tell them.

Or maybe the funds just aren't coming in - so they are doing - nothing until it does.

Yeah, that's why I posted so many times, "just sit down, shut up and wait for orders". Of course I was referring to orders from Trump. They should have listened. Now it's all a big mess. He builds up all the momentum for job creation and a handful of Republicans shut it all down. Well, I hope they're happy with their lack of accomplishment.
