As new immigration law in Alabama takes effect, construction and farm workers flee

By Associated Press, Wednesday, October 5, 3:23 PM

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Alabama’s strict new immigration law may be backfiring. Intended to force illegal workers out of jobs, it is also driving away many construction workers, roofers and field hands in the country legally who do backbreaking jobs that Americans generally won’t.

The vacancies have created a void that will surely deal a blow to the state’s economy and could slow the rebuilding of Tuscaloosa and other tornado-damaged cities.

Employers believe they can carry on because of the dismal economy, but when things do turn around, they worry there won’t be anyone around to hire. Many legal Hispanic workers are fleeing the state because their family and friends don’t have the proper papers and they fear they will be jailed.

Rick Pate, the owner of a commercial landscaping company in Montgomery, lost two of his most experienced workers, who were in the country legally. He spent thousands of dollars training them to install irrigation systems at places like the Hyundai plant.

“They just feel like there is a negative atmosphere for them here. They don’t feel welcome. I don’t begrudge them. I’d feel nervous, too,â€

The contractors, farmers, and other illegal alien addicts sound just like that. Recovering crack addicts, alcoholics and junkies. Once they clean out their system and their illegal alien D.T's and seizures stop.
They may find Americans and "legal" temporary workers are willing and able for a livable wage and conditions do these jobs.
Addicts are addicts. So happy the laws are working for you Alabama!
We heard the same whining from Arizona illegal alien addicts soon after 1070. Now hardly a whimper.
Just give em a shoulder to cry on for a bit. They will grow up, and become better Americans for it! It took a while to get hooked and it will take a little while to get clean.

It's working as it should. You're fired. You leave. Couldn't be more simple and right than that.

They weren't afraid of being arrested when they crossed the border illegally, why is this different?

Because the Great People of Alabama Stood Up and said WE HAD ENOUGH! GET THE HELL OUT! And unlike our wimpy Federal Government,
They know the people of Alabama are SERIOUS! God Bless them!

People actually still believe this lie, makes me sick to hear Americans mostly Dems. say "They work so hard!" they don't, and we American Construction workers are always outnumbered and we Americans still get the work done!

All these roofing companies and other construction companies are teaching illegals how to do our jobs, once they learn they venture out on they're own and start they're own businesses, in the meantime the Americans they kicked to the curb have had to start they're own businesses and look for work where they can find it, "These Morons have shot they're selves in the foot twice by hiring illegals and legals alike!" I've seen many Roofing Companies here that have been in business for decades having to close they're doors! "Good Riddance Backstabbers!"

    ==========================

The types of industries and employers doing the usual complaining aren't fooling anyone. If employers like Rick Pate had hired and trained an American and paid them a decent wage this would be a non-player.

These greedy employers are at the root of illegal immigration, along with organized religion who are begging for members to pump up their failing denominations.

What a sick society that enables, protects, and sponsors an entire population of illegal aliens who once they get here instead of assimilating propagate their own sub-societies that weaken American society at large.

This is proven over and over again in both large cities and small rural communities where Mexicans have taken over and native Americans have been forced to move out due to organized Mexican gangs, lack of employment due to Mexican nepotism, massive welfare dependency, degradation of overloaded public assistance services, dumbing down the quality of public education because anchor babies can't assimilate because their parents speak to them only in Spanish, and whole voting districts morphing into political voting blocks with standards and values beneficial to nobody but Mexicans.

Take a close look at California and you will validate the above observations as the same identical destructive scenario is reproduced on a national scale.

Greed has caused this downward spiral, and it is the same greed that has outsourced American jobs and industry to China, Mexico, Asia, South America and all over the world.

It is the average American-born citizen whose lives have suffered terribly over all of this, decimating our culture and eliminating our Middle Class Worker, and it is the greedy American employers and sold-out congressmen and senators who are dead center in the blame.

Unless this cycle ends, there will be no more United States of America to fight over. It will have become what the globalists have wanted all along, a third-world cog in the wheel of the New World Order.
