EDMOND — A county judge sentenced an Edmond man, 40, accused of sexually assaulting two victims, to three years in prison, a prosecutor said Friday.

In July, prosecutors charged Esteban Martinez, 40, of Edmond, with three counts of sexual battery and one count of first-degree rape by instrumentation. He appeared for a preliminary hearing at 9 a.m. Friday in the court of Oklahoma County Special District Judge D. Fred Doak.

Oklahoma County Assistant District Attorney Marcy Fassio said the defendant pleaded guilty to all four counts and in addition to spending time in prison Martinez will serve 10 years of probation. He also will be required to register as a sex offender.

Fassio said the victims supported the agreement, and expressed that they wanted him to not be able to assault anyone else.
