JW Lawsuit Forces Spitzer to Abandon Plan to Issue Driver’s Licenses to Illegals

Well, that didn’t take long.

On November 14, 2007, New York Governor Eliot Spitzer abandoned his controversial and much publicized plan to issue driver’s licenses to illegal aliens just one week after Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit to stop him. According to Reuters News Service: “Spitzer said he had come to believe that the proposal would eventually be blocked either by legal challenges or by the New York legislature.â€

JW didn't defeat Spitzer.........SHILLARY CLINTON DID. It's all over the internet and talk radio how she went to him prior to the last debate and told him in no uncertain terms to lay off the driver licenses for ILLEGALS.

It's the typical Billary double speak. She says she is against providing licenses to undocumented immigrants (illegal aliens) but she fully supports Comprehensive Immigration Reform (Amnesty). Therefore, if she becomes president, there will be no "undocumented immigrants" since she will make sure they all get Amnesty which legalizes their presence. Therefore she will never give licenses to illegal aliens because there will never be any!!!
