LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- A jury found David Ramos Arenas, a man accused of posing as a Border Patrol agent, guilty Thursday in his retrial in Dona Ana County District Court.

Ramos Arenas was found guilty of false detainment and impersonating a peace officer.

Arenas, a former Border Patrol trainee, was accused of stopping a woman in Mesquite, New Mexico in March 2008. The accuser claimed 39-year-old Arenas, who was dressed as a Border Patrol agent, got frustrated when she wouldn't get out of her car and he reached into her car window.

In a trial in February, jurors were not able to reach a verdict.
