Univision to Hold Town Hall Forum On Immigration Fri., 05/14
Univision to Hold Town Hall Forum On Immigration
Thursday, 13 May 2010 12:14 PM
Spanish-language Univision television plans a town hall-style meeting Friday to discuss immigration issues in the wake of Arizona's passage of a law that some critics fear could lead to racial profiling.
The nation's most-watched Spanish-language network will air the session at 10 p.m. Eastern/Pacific. It will be held at Univision's Miami studio, with reports from the network's Phoenix affiliate. Hispanic leaders, immigration law experts, politicians and Arizona officials will participate.
Univision also said Thursday it's working with The Associated Press on a poll of the Hispanic community's views on immigration reform and the new Arizona law set to take effect next month.
The new law requires police enforcing another law to question a person about his or her immigration status if there's "reasonable suspicion" the person is in the country illegally.

It will probably tell them how to circumvent U.S. law and at the same time collect benefits.

Univision is an alternate-world network. Never watch it and never will. All for one ethnicity: Hispanics.

Are they going to wear their brown gowns and pointed hoods?

We know one thing there will be no one there for the bill, so much for fair and balanced or speaking out for the rule of law.
