Kerry slams Trump's wall, tells grads to prepare for 'borderless world'

Secretary of State John Kerry took a shot at Donald Trump during his Friday commencement speech at Northeastern University, by saying no wall is big enough to keep dangerous terrorists out of the United States.

"Many of you were in elementary school when you learned the toughest lesson of all on 9/11," he said. "There are no walls big enough to stop people from anywhere, tens of thousands of miles away, who are determined to take their own lives while they target others."

"So I think that everything that we've lived and learn tells us that we will never come out on top if we accept advice from sound-bite salesmen and carnival barkers who pretend the most powerful country on Earth can remain great by looking inward," Kerry added. "And hiding behind walls at a time that technology has made that impossible to do and unwise to even attempt."

Kerry didn't mention Trump by name, but Trump has repeatedly called for a wall on the southern U.S. border, and many Democrats, and some Republicans, have taken to calling him a carnival barker.

Kerry also seemed to dismiss the importance of national borders, and said technology has reshaped the world into one that the U.S. must engage at the risk of being left behind. He said Trump and others who want to look inward are making a mistake, even in the face of rising tension and violence in the world.

"For some people, that is all they need simply to climb under the sheets, close their eyes and push the world away," Kerry said. "And shockingly, we even see this attitude from some who think they ought to be entrusted with the job of managing international affairs."

"The future demands from us something more than a nostalgia for some rose-tinted version of the past that did not really exist in any case," he said. "You're about to graduate into a complex and borderless world."

Americans should understand the hard facts about being a globalist. We are ill-informed and tie the wrong notions of anti-globalistic behavior with isolationism. Americans have to realize that eventually globalism has to be kept in check because eventually you will end up with too many people, too few jobs, stagnate wage-growth and a huge logistic problem for both transportation and ecological issues.

    "borderless world" - NOT!

Not everyone is a globalist, only the super rich & super poor. Both for what they will profit. Unfortunately, it would be the destruction of civilized, progressed nations.

Move the 3rd world people up a few notches in their own countries and not by throwing a bunch of money at them - it hasn't worked. But helping to structure where the money goes - that is all you can do. Take the money away if they act up.

We should not be made martyrs for those that can't control their overpopulation. The church has to step out of the way on that too. If you can't feed what you have, don't have more.

Take the fence down at the White House Kerry! Take the massive wall around the Vatican down Kerry. Take away the Pope's guards weapons, take away and Secret Service weapons Kerry. Take away Hillary's guards weapons!

Kenya is building a wall. Israel built a wall and it is quite effective. Countries in Europe are putting up barb wire fences to protect its' citizens from the invasion of illegal migrants.

WE WILL HAVE A WALL! AND IT WILL STOP THE HUMAN TRAFFICKING, THE DRUGS, GANGS, CRIMINALS FROM FLOWING OVER OUR BORDER!

Best to go fix the problems on THEIR soil and stop closing your eyes to the corrupt government, the over population and go do something about it. We will take that risk to be left behind...you dope.

Can you believe this guy was a US Senator, ran for President of the United States and ended up Secretary of State of the United States?

Democrats .... you've been led by a bunch of globalists into a trap of historic proportions. Unfortunately, you've trapped US all with the stupidity, incompetence and treason. I don't believe most Democrats even believe this crap. What American would want to believe in a borderless world? That's a world without nations. That's a world without countries. That's a march to One World Government, with a society of crones and drones, with drone workers living in dormitories like in China with numbers tattooed on our foreheads.

My fellow Americans, there is only one person who can save US from this disaster and that person is Donald J Trump and his band of Trump Supporters. Time to get on the Trump Train and do it fast.
