Agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcment busted a sex-slave ring, one that has a link to Southwest Florida. Arturo-Rojas-Gonzalez, Elodia Capilla-Diego, Fidel Gutierrez-Gonzalez and Rosalio Valdez-Nava were arrested on Wednesday and charged with sex trafficking. With their arrests, 9 women were freedom from forced prostitution. One of them described being housed at two locations in east Fort Myers while she was shuttled around the state. Investigators describe the houses as "stash" houses, meaning they were not used for prostitution. Instead traffickers would stash their victims there for up to a week before moving to a new location. In some cases, families lived in the homes and were not aware that the women were being held against their will. Neighbors didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. "You don't know, they may have brought her in late at night so nobody would see" said Bill Blakeslee. " Charges against one suspect were dropped, the other three were granted $250 million bond.
