Today, members of the House and Senate Democratic Caucuses joined together to unveil a collaborative series of bills and priorities, all crafted specifically with the Kansas worker in mind. The “Democrats for Working Kansansâ€

Kansas Jobs for Kansas Workers

Too many employers knowingly hire undocumented immigrants. We believe that employers who continue this practice ought to be penalized. Kansas must protect responsible Kansas employers by creating strong incentives to comply with state hiring laws.

I hope this means they support E-Verify. We'll have to see the details to see if they are serious about this, or if this is just boilerplate bluster.

Democrates in both State and Federal Government have already shown their true colors so I do not trust them ONE iota. Their sudden about face is very suspecious imo.

I think they are making preperations to have jobs ready for the TWENTY MILLION + Illegals when Amnesty is passed.

I have trusted them in the past then the other shoe dropped leaving me totally devastated by their calloused treatment of Tax Paying American Citizens to appease special interest groups..

Thats not good enough. Why not pass a bill that says employers who hire illegal aliens will lose their license? Giving a small penalty to those who do hire illegals doesnt seem to make any difference. USE E-VERIFY!
