LAPD busts auto theft, burglary ring

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Eight people, including four juveniles, have been arrested for allegedly preying on more than 50 residents in a series of San Fernando Valley auto thefts and home burglaries.

Investigators say the crime ring stole cars throughout the valley and took them to Mexico. Nine vehicles have been recovered. The band of thieves also took valuables during residential burglaries.

Police said Tuesday that hundreds of stolen items have been recovered.

Eight people ranging from 17- to 20 years old have been arrested and booked for investigation of multiple felony counts, including grand theft auto and burglary.

The four adults facing charges are 18-year-olds Rami Barnieh and Esteban Solorio-Araya, 19-year-old Michael Landix and 20-year-old Reza Jabarzade.

Probably anchor babies. What I see happening here in the San Joaquin Valley are Anchor Babies taking new trucks and SUV's to TJ, "for the day" and conveniently having those trucks and SUV's "stolen." They then get, insurance kickbacks for their "loss" plus what ever money the cartels pay them to "deliver" those cars and trucks, plus a ticket back "home." It seems like the insurance companies would blow the whistle on this, but then again, many of these Anchor Babies buy those Hispanic insurance policies that illegal aliens sell out of their homes around here to other illegals. It's a racket.

Big whoop, Mexicans have been stealing cars in the US and transporting them to Mexico for the past 100 years.
