LA City Council Approves Illegal Alien Harboring Ordinance
Los Angeles City Council Approves Illegal Alien Harboring Ordinance
Posted in Illegal Aliens & Immigration Reforms on August 15th, 2008
The Los Angeles City Council unanimously approved an ordinance yesterday that will require new big-box home improvement stores built in the future to provide illegal alien day laborers with shelter, drinking water, bathrooms and trash cans. This ordinance would mandate that all proposed retail outlets fitting the description would receive conditional-use permits requiring them to construct day-labor centers adjacent to their facilities to accommodate the illegal alien laborers routinely attracted to loiter near these business establishments.
Councilman Bernard C. Parks, who first proposed the ordinance four years ago, said that this was just the first phase and that he planned to address existing home improvement stores next. He stated that the businesses needed to be held accountable for their role in attracting day workers.
Los Angeles City Councilman Eric Garcetti stated that “This is an example for the nation.â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

How does an elected government in America get away with promoting, furthering, assisting and harboring illegal imigration? This needs a constitutional lawsuit.

Here is what LA has to deal with!! This is a response from one of the many pro-illegal invader, ethno-centrists published in the LA Times this morning. Nativo Lopez and many others just like him, are in collusion with city leaders to destroy not only California, but this country!
Notice how we get the obligatory "xenophobe" throw in which is standard operating proceedure with these traitors. I guess nativo wanted this measure passed without a peep from the LA Times so as it could slip under the radar to benefit his beloved invaders as they illegally solicit work in front of HD's across LA...
Re "The shelter storm," Opinion, Aug. 10
With apparently no other news worthy of its opinion, The Times saw fit to devote its entire Sunday editorial space to comment on a minor amendment to a Los Angeles zoning ordinance that would promote (and not require) day-labor centers at new, large home-improvement stores. After predicting a "storm" of xenophobic opposition to the measure, The Times ironically triggered the very opposition it warned was coming. The Times could have saved a lot of ink by offering a free advertisement to Home Depot.
It is a fact that Home Depot customers hire day laborers and that centers are the best way to respond to community concerns. And despite the editorial's assertion that Home Depot will be "stuck with the bill for the shelters," it is also a fact that the ordinance does not require Home Depot to pay anything. Instead, it merely requires a plan to be in place for the likely presence of day laborers. To all but nativist vigilantes and The Times' editorial board, that is not at all unreasonable.

Is he nuts??? The "community' is up in arms about illegal day laborers! We don't want them in our communities! Contractors who hire IA's are undercutting profits of all of the legitimate employers who do NOT hire IA's! This is NOT benefitting our communities!!!It is a fact that Home Depot customers hire day laborers and that centers are the best way to respond to community concerns.
Furthermore, they are exposing the community to unsavory, menacing, illegals from Mexico and Salvador who could turn out to be rapists, murderers, or child molesters! This is the 'concern' of the community!

I am beginning to wonder of the LA Council chambers are not built on a toxic waste dump where hallucinogenics were dumped after the 60s drug craze. Mr. Lopez seems to be having the same problem.
