Thread: LA: Small turnout for May Day march [few hundred]

Since then, activists have deemphasized street actions in favor of change at the ballot box through promoting citizenship and voter registration.

Don't fool yourself. They ARE voting. Time to start giving the hawk eye to the voting rolls and making sure we pass legislation that confirms people are legal and who they say they are.

I attended the counter protest at the Houston May Day march yesterday.
One thing that I noticed was that there were far fewer marchers this year.
Last year the news estimated 7,000 marchers. A report I saw about this
morning said 4,000 attended yesterday. My guess was much lower at only
about 1,000.
