Tonight, we’ll have the latest updates from Iowa and other
areas devastated by recent floods. And we’ll have the latest
from presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama.
Plus:

* Corn, wheat, and soybeans prices are all at record highs.
This year’s late spring and brutal storms in the Midwest have
damaged crops, driving up prices. Adding to the squeeze,
thousands of acres are not being planted because farmers agreed
not to do so in return for a payment from the government. That
means consumers are not only paying more for food, they’re also
paying in the form of tax-funded subsidies.

* The “Strategic Economic Dialogueâ€
