Latino leaders: Veto AZ immigration-policing bill

    Latino leaders: Veto immigration-policing bill
    Matthew Benson
    The Arizona Republic

A handful of influential Latino activists have delivered a letter to Gov. Janet Napolitano asking that she veto a measure that would require local police to cooperate with federal authorities on immigration enforcement.

Opponents, including leaders Salvador Reza of Tonatierra and Hector Yturralde of Somos America, worry that the measure, House Bill 2807, would further isolate the Arizona Latino community and result in racial profiling.

if she caves to these latino's all the hard work of the AZ rep's will be for nothing . If a Governor is that weak that a few PC terms scare her then she already has No power . Chamber of Commence seems to be the worst people behind most of this hard-line action , as they sell our jobs for $3 bucks an hour . Governor remember Illegals have NO rights in America . They broke the law to get here , even if it was with Bushco's approval
Nam vet 1967/1970 Skull & Bones can KMA .Bless our Brothers that gave their all ..It also gives me the right to Vote for Chuck Baldwin 2008 POTUS . NOW or never*

Arizona seems to have the proper strategy to deal with a liberal governor who "Thinks Mexico First." They prepare referenda that actually reflect what the people want as opposed to a compromise bill. In this case, Napolitano can approve the bill, a compromise, or face the possibility that the people will demand something far more severe. Of course the other part of the tactic is if she does nothing, the bill becomes law without her signature. That works for me too. And regarding Latinos who are upset at being demonized, I'd opine they'd be happier if they'd stand with their countrymen rather than those they erroneously consider to be of their race. Of course the US would be a far better place too.

This great country has sent a man to the moon; defeated the most powerful army in the world up to that time in the Revolution; defeated the most powerful armies in the world up to that time in WWII; rebuilt the warn torn countries of Japan and Germany, established and built the greatest free nation ever on the face of the earth; but yet we hear people say that we can’t put 12 to 20 million people on busses and send them home…Hmmmmmmm...

ROFLMAO.......oh dear.....that's funny stuff right there. INFLUENTIAL?

These idiots are influential in their own little La-La Lands. If they couldn't hold "jobs" as "activists", they'd be nothing and having to work real jobs just like the rest of us. I hope they're planning for the day when the funding to their illegal activities is cut off because that won't be long in coming........
