A new survey conducted by Impremedia/Latino decisions, released Monday August 22, shows that Latinos are disappointed by the Obama administration and its support for the president is declining.
The purpose of the survey, conducted between July 27 and August 9 in 21 states, was to detect what the Hispanic community thinks about economy, education, and their valuation of President Obama.
In 2008 68% of Latinos voted for President Obama. This percentage was crucial in his election. The survey showed that only 39% of Latino voters are sure they will vote for Obama. Last June this figure was 49% after the killing of Osama Bin Laden and President Obama’s speech at El Paso, Texas reaffirming his support for an immigration reform.
