It is simple--I am an American. I support America.
    Lostanau:
""We need to help our border brothers," he says, using a term of endearment for illegal immigrants from Mexico. "These are our people, not too removed from ourselves, who are traveling the same territory for the same reason as we and our parents and grandparents did."

Lostaunau is an Hispanic who, somehow, has American citizenship. I do not care how he got it. I do not care if he risked his life to get. I DO care that he is selling out his country to people from another country.

He is a Latino Benedict Arnold.
    A traitor.

I know we got creamed by doing to the Japanese citizens of this country what we did.......but obviously it's not an unexpected action to see one turn against this country to aid another if their heritage is more important than this country.

....and on the complete opposite end of the spectrum you have someone like my dad who is a naturalized citizen originally from a country in South America, who immigrated here legally over 55 years ago and served this nation proudly during the Korean War.........not as an "immigrant" or "hispanic" but as an AMERICAN proud to fight (and he was in combat) for this nation.......and we have Col. Al Rodgriguez, Founder of "You Don't Speak for Me"..........www.dontspeakforme.org also a member of Veterans for Secure Borders.

Exactly.....and yet how do you know the difference these days when citizenship and all that barely matters, and dual citizenship is common.
They could have done the same with the Germans or any other group of people. I feel more insecure about it now, than I think I would years ago, because people made a commitment to a country and it ment more than just money and a temp job and then a quick hop over the border or plane ride and gone when they tired of it. Your Dad has it right......it just bugs me.....Chicano Vet? It's American......period or not......and obviously for them.....it's not.
