HOMESTEAD — Parents living in the U.S. illegally should be punished, but separating them from their U.S.-born children is not the answer, U.S. Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart said Sunday during a gathering of more than 1,000 people at a pro-immigrant rally.
Diaz-Balart, R-Miami, was one of four U.S. representatives to speak in Homestead. The farm community is part of a 17-city tour advocating comprehensive immigration reform that provides a path to citizenship for those in the U.S. illegally.
“We have to recognize and deal with (their violation) but in a just way. Separating and leaving U.S. citizens without their parents is not the best solution. We need reasonable consequences,â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Lawmakers bring immigration tour to Florida
Gutierrez said he had heard stories before of parents being deported while their children remained in the U.S. But since he began the tour, he has heard stories of U.S. citizens whose children were deported because they turned 18 before their parents could petition for them.
I am tired of people trying to pull at heart strings. Abusing the system. Americas kindness has been mistaken for our weakness.
If a child is born on U.S soil to illegal immigrants they should have the same options as other criminals that BREAK THE LAW. Find a family member that is a U.S citizen to care for and adopt the baby. Or the state should place the child up for adoption.
The child shouldn't be punished for the parents disregard for the laws.
U.S. citizens whose children were deported because they turned 18 before their parents could petition for them.
Wouldn't this be top priority? Revoke the parents citizenship and deport them along with the child.
Maybe Illegal immigrants will learn to obey and fallow the laws if they actually have consequences to there actions.

enforce our immigration laws!
Actually the 14th Amnendment was to be applied to slaves that had children while in captivitity in our country becomming automatic citizens. This Amnendment does not apply to people that have over stayed their visa's and/or jumped a fence to unlawfully stay in our country. By Law Anchor babies are not US citizens!

Our side needs to be presented.
PS
We need to have a Pro-American tour, explaining to people around our country, in case, they don't know, the real truth about illegal immigration.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Anyone who would condone leaving minor children behind should not be a parent. This it total BS, the parents must be deported and take their children with them. The children have dual citizenship, so this "separation" is laughable. OK, Two Questions here:
Who is on this tour and if employed by government (as in a Congressman), who pays for the tour?
Homestead, Fl is just outside of Miami. Miami where my family had to flee for our lives during the drug activities of the 1980s. I left Miami in 1981 for a safer area. Upon coming back to Miami for business one time, driving from the airport, I came upon a fresh killing of someone who was machine gunned by SA narco-terrorists. Just laying in the streets. Just like other third-world countries.
Miami: now less than 17% white population
Language of choice: Spanish
Gang of choice: Currently Jamaican
Government: Third-world and proudly, "Bannana Republic"
Police Force: Former La Guardia National"and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one."

American Rights must prevail over the corrupt elite
prebanjoe , I have compassion for your situation. It seems that we can look at BI ( Before Illegals) and AI ( After Illegals) and see a profound and devastating difference.
Everywhere this population goes, destruction and devastation follows.
Americans of all races, and religions must come together and fight for our country. Illegals must leave and Amnesty must never come to pass.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
