    lacking proper auto-related paperwork.
    Would this by chance be a drivers license, auto insurance. maybe a registration, I'm sure they do not feel it necessary to registar the car I mean what the hell if you have none of the other proper paper work,

    My ex wasn't good enough to get away with it which was fine with me because the more time he spent in custody, the less time I had to spend looking at him

    Every American should have some form of ID, and If you don't or can't show it especially these days then the consequences is your own fault even if it is a simple picture ID from MNV its not that expensive or hard to get. I have no poblem showing mine.
