SALT LAKE CITY -- Following tearful hugs from friends, members of the Correa family checked in, under the watchful eye of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents, at the Salt Lake International Airport Thursday.
They're being deported back to their native Argentina, despite claims they were being harassed there for being members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and because Claudio Correa was working for an American company.
Their asylum was denied and on Oct. 24, agents showed up at the family's American Fork home to take Claudio into custody. The Correas claim they never hid, and tried to go through the process the right way.

"Even if you are a good citizen, you pay your taxes and you pay your bills and everything, you don't have a chance," said Debora Zalazar, Claudio's wife. "It doesn't matter what kind of person you are."
Correa was brought to the airport from the Utah County Jail, where he's been in custody. The family was reunited after they were taken through security.
The couple's two children -- 14-year-old Magali and 17-year-old Kevin -- accompanied their mother.
"I don't know, it's going to be hard adapting to the new culture," said Kevin. "I've spent all my life here."
Magali cried as she hugged a friend who came to the airport to tell her goodbye.
The family will stay with relatives initially. Debora Zalazar says they've had some job offers. She's an artist and has an offer from a studio. Correra has been working for a company that does specialty stained glass work.
Immigrations and Customs Enforcement says there was no legal reason to keep the Correa's in the United States. They won't be allowed to return for at least 10 years.

What's interesting is that some very good families from other countries get deported VERY QUICKLY while so many scum bags get to stay, cheat, lie, live off taxpayers, don't speak the language, etc. Those who could contribute the most get booted out but the blood suckers get to stay.
Amazing. Yet, the law is the law. It's too bad it seems to be enforced more fiercely against other ethnic groups than the pervasive one causing all the headaches and trouble.

They are not 'citizens' and breaking US laws to steal into our nation is not 'good'.

Bottom line
US law
If you are here without status , the penalty is deportation
And I agree that it should be far better enforced
Hopefully now , the rumblings I hear from the blogs and forums and from
members of the House , Things are going to get a whole lot hotter for all
illegals.

They all have to be deported. No matter how good or bad they seem to be. They are all stealing jobs and opportunities, taking up space in our schools, hospitals and work places. We don't want their taxes, we want the wages, jobs and opportunities we have here for our own people.
I posted 5 years ago that deporting illegal aliens will be the hardest thing Americans have ever had to do and it's something we should have never been put in the position to have to do in the first place, but that's where we are thanks to the traitors selling out our country, so do it we must, across the board, without exception, bias, preference or mercy with no child left behind.
And this attempt by this couple to claim asylum from Argentina because they're ...Mormon? That's laughable, if not downright ... pathetic How many of these phony claims for asylum are we going have to pay government workers to listen to and sort out? We should stop that nonsense entirely.
Buh bye and good riddance.

Good Families
If enough "good families" return to their homelands with the spirit of the American experience, they will help to model their countries like America. When that is accomplished, the opportunities that exist in America will be available in their homelands and the world will become a better place. They will not have to come to America for freedom and entrepenurial success.
I do not write the above in sarcasm. I truly believe it. Isn't Argentina worth working for to create a "good family" environment?
Or any other country for that matter??
