Deputies arrest illegals smuggling mass quantities of drugs
Maricopa County, Arizona has a bad enough problem with methamphetamines without illegals making it much worse. This is getting ridiculous and it’s very dangerous too.

After receiving tip, police raid home, arrest 4

In the fight against illegal drugs, a methamphetamine bust of a couple of pounds is considered very significant.
That’s why Maricopa County sheriff’s deputies were so taken aback by a seizure this weekend of 70 pounds of the drug.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Saturday that this was the largest drug stash his agency has ever found in one place.
Undercover narcotics detectives with the Sheriff’s Office on Friday seized 70 pounds of methamphetamine hidden inside a Chevrolet Tahoe in west Phoenix and arrested four undocumented immigrants suspected of smuggling the illegal drug.

In a separate incident overnight, the Sheriff's Office said deputies seized 405 pounds of marijuana valued at about $200,000 and arrested two undocumented immigrants suspected of smuggling the drug.

I thought having me have to show ID and get a limited supply of allergy medicine was going to put a stop to this meth problem. Meth users still get their meth and I'm treated like a threat because I have asthma and allergies. This does not compute.

Just think about how many crimes these drugs would have caused if the drugs got to the end users...thefts, B&E's, home invasions, rapes, murders, etc.
Then the associated harm to hundreds or thousands of families torn apart by drug addiction...
Then the poverty it causes....
Then the millions of dollars in taxpayers to pay for services from drug treatment programs, prisons, welfare, etc.
