Email I sent to AZ Senate

Here Is the email I just sent to a few people In the AZ Senate... To: lgray@azleg.gov, dschapira@azleg.gov, spierce@azleg.gov, sbundgaard@azleg.gov Some critics of the REAL ID Act have argued that the driver’s license provisions in the bill would not have stopped any of the 9/11 terrorists because they all entered the United States legally. Technically, of course, none of them came legally because they all committed fraud on their visa applications. More importantly, though, at least two of them overstayed their visas and remained here illegally. Both Nawaf al Hazmi—one of the four hijackers of Flight 77, which flew into the Pentagon—and Hani Hanjour—the pilot of Flight 77 who is believed to have murdered the real pilot by slitting his throat with a box cutter—were unlawfully present in the United States when they obtained driver’s licenses and/or ID cards. WE DO NOT KNOW who these people are that you continue to pander to. You are putting our entire nation at risk by your warped mindset with regard to our nations laws, but since there Is nobody to hold you accountable I guess you believe that you can get away with It for now. The American people are fed up with all of the pandering for business, and for votes. You cannot hide anymore. This madness has to stop. I hope that this message gets passed around. We will be watching very closely so that we can make the right choices In 2012. This Is AMERICA,not mexico... By the way,we are hearing that John McCain Is pulling stings In the backround. Not surprising since Cindy Hensley McCain Is a chairman of the Hensley Beverage Company, (Andy McCain Hensleys CFO)and they just happen to be on the list of companies that "disapprove" of these bills that crack down on Illegals. Hmm, very Interesting Indeed.... http://www.azleg.gov/MemberRoster.asp?Body=S

    [quote="Judy"][quote="topsecret10"]CEOs on Immigration Letter
    March 15th, 2011
    Senator Russell Pearce, Senate President
    Arizona State Senate
    1700 W Washington, Room S-205
    Phoenix, AZ 85007

    Dear President Pearce,
Thank you for your willingness to serve Arizona as a Member of the Arizona State Senate. We, like you, are concerned about the challenges facing our State, particularly the need to address our structural deficit and insure an economic environment that attracts and retains high quality jobs.

While we recognize the desire for states like Arizona to fill the leadership vacuum left by federal inaction on immigration, we strongly believe it is unwise for the Legislature to pass any additional immigration legislation, including any measures leaving the determination of citizenship to the state.

We agree with you that our borders must be protected first, and now. We also believe that market-driven immigration policies can and should be developed by the federal government that will sustain America’s status as a magnet for the world’s most talented and hard-working people and preserve our ability to compete in the global economy.

If the Legislature believes it is worthwhile to debate the question of citizenship, we believe that debate is best held in the U.S. Congress. Already, Senators David Vitter of Louisiana and Rand Paul of Kentucky have introduced legislation aimed at amending the 14th Amendment to deny “birthright citizenshipâ€
You cannot dedicate yourself to America unless you become in every
respect and with every purpose of your will thoroughly Americans. You
cannot become thoroughly Americans if you think of yourselves in groups. President Woodrow Wilson

    Right On! topsecret10!

Good letter...see you sent it to Steve Pierce too! I, too, am firing off letters and no longer going to Petsmart, no longer dealing with Wells Fargo, Cox, etc.!

And will bring this up to McCain....Bet I get a reply from him in a couple of months that outlines his 10 point border plan and has nothing to do with the price of tea in China.

Paul Dykstra, Chairman, President/CEO, Viad Corporation
Viad is part of Dial, you know, the ones who make Dial soaps, Purex detergents, Renuzit air fresheners, and Armour Star canned meats. I say boycott all of these products.

    http://www.fundinguniverse.com/company- ... story.html

"The idea of further divestiture simmered for the next couple of years, coming to a boil in 1996. That year Dial split into two publicly held companies: Viad Corp., which took the $2.2 billion services businesses, and The Dial Corp., which took the $1.4 billion consumer products businesses."

I don't believe that any of these products are manufactured in Arizona, so where do they get off telling us what to do!!
