ASHLAND -- An Ashland man was arrested Tuesday after police said he threatened to rape a 17-year-old girl if she and her younger sister did not come out of their Raymond Marchetti Street home.

Camilo Hernandez, 23, was also accused of inappropriately touching the two teen girls, Detective Greg Fawkes said. Fawkes said he is also investigating reports of him touching other girls, as young as 14.

"The 15-year-old girl said he always hugs her and smacks and grabs her buttocks and tries to kiss her," said Fawkes. "He's also touched the 17-year-old inappropriately. They also said he may have inappropriately touched their friends, who are even younger than them."

On Tuesday, officers responded to Raymond Marchetti Street for a report of a disturbance. When they got there, the two girls told police that Hernandez kept calling them in their home to try to get them out.

At one point, the mother got on the phone and told him to stop calling, but he did not, and then he threatened the 17-year-old.

"He said he'd rape her if she didn't come out," Fawkes said.

When questioned, Hernandez claimed he was only 18, but the girls said they thought he was in his 20s. Police opened his wallet and found eight apparently fake IDs.

"He had a fake Social Security card, a Pennsylvania ID, a fake Massachusetts ID, a Guatemalan ID," Fawkes said.

Fawkes said Hernandez admitted he lied about his age. He is also an illegal immigrant from Guatemala.

Hernandez, of 51 Raymond Marchetti St., was charged with annoying and accosting a person sexually, threatening to commit rape and the illegal possession of fake identifications.

Fawkes said more charges could be filed against Hernandez, depending on what other girls in the neighborhood say.

"He's 23 years old, touching young girls -- it's really inappropriate," Fawkes said.
