Panel to consider a national Latino museum in Washington
    By PABLO BACHELET
    McClatchy Newspapers

WASHINGTON | Tucked into a vast public lands measure approved by Congress last week was a bill that thrilled Hispanic lawmakers and activists.

The legislation, which the White House is expected to approve, creates a 23-member panel to study the viability of a National Museum of the American Latino Community in Washington. Proponents hope the museum will rise above the din of the illegal immigration debate to highlight the contributions to U.S. society by the 45 million-strong Latino community.

Mexico can pay for it and they can build it in Mexico and have the drug cartels sponsor it.

Bad idea, IMO! Illegal imigrants do not contribute anything. I dont believe there are 45 million LEGAL Hispanics in the country either.

We need a law that a bill addresses ONE issue and one issue only. No more unrelated, hidden agenda bills attached to other bills. This form of hitchhiker bill is deceptive and secreative. Hitchhiking is illegal--so should be such bills.

This legislation is a propoganda ploy not unlike former kings and dictators displayed by donning their military uniforms covered with 'medals' and 'ribbons'.

"The liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is fascism - ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or any controlling private power."

They could raise money for the building.Sell Bricks, $50 for each brick with the name each illegal alien murderer, 10 cents for each illegal alien DUI, $5 for each rapist 2 cents for each drug dealer and $29.95 for every
illegal alien anchor baby. It will be the largest brick building in the USA.
