Feds say employing illegal aliens could cost employers up to $3,200 per hire .

THE U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services said CNMI employers could face civil fines of $375 to $3,200 per illegal alien they employ and the penalties could go higher depending on the frequency of their offense.

“An employer who knowingly hires or continues the employment of an unauthorized alien is subject to a civil money penalty of between $375 and $3,200 for each unauthorized alien, for a first offense.  Higher penalties apply for subsequent offenses,â€
