    Lou Dobbs Tonight
    Monday July 23, 2007

Tonight, the White House refuses to rule out strikes against
terrorist safe havens inside Pakistan as Osama Bin Laden
remains on the run nearly six years after 9/11. Meanwhile six
more NATO troops have been killed in Afghanistan. We’ll have a
    special report.

Groups of Arizona businesses are pushing back against the
strict state law signed two weeks ago penalizing companies for
hiring illegal aliens. Two groups have filed suit contending
the legislation illegally interferes with the federal
government’s responsibility to enforce U.S. immigration policy.
Wake Up Arizona!, another group unhappy with the restrictions,
is considering proposing its own ballot initiative to combat
the new rules. We’ll have a full report on Arizona business
fighting the two-strikes-and-you’re-out policy at the expense
    of working Americans.

We’ve seen it before, the government not producing documents
requested under The Freedom of Information Act. This time the
Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, and
The State Department have failed to release records of
communication between the U.S. and Mexico in the case of
imprisoned Border Patrol agents Ramos and Compean. A U.S.
District Judge ordered a hearing for today over the
government’s unresponsiveness in this case. We’ll have a
special report on this miscarriage of justice.

America's long-awaited pay raise for the working poor goes into
effect tomorrow. It still means a full-time worker at the
minimum wage makes less than $20,000 a year. At the same time,
more businesses are recognizing that higher wages for the
working poor might actually be good for the economy. We'll have
    a full report.

And we’ll be taking a closer look at the growing backlash
against the once touted and lauded globalization of corporate
America. We’ll have a full report on the impact it has had on
    the American Middle Class.

Once again the Food and Drug Administration and Congress are
not telling us the full story about the safety of the United
States food supply. Are companies adding Carbon Monoxide in
meat to make it look fresh? You bet. We’ll have full coverage.

And, the National Council of La Raza is holding its annual
meeting and the main focus is the Amnesty Agenda. We’ll have
    more on that, tonight.

Do you agree with Judicial Watch that there is more to the story than the U.S. Government has told us in the case of Ramos and Compean?
